Who is responsible for your data
Smart Girl Multibiz (BN 7175514), trading as Smart Girl Business Consultancy, is the data controller for information collected through this website. We are based in Lagos, Nigeria. For any privacy question or request, contact Smartgirlfounder@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you submit the consultation form we collect the details you provide: your name, business name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, industry, approximate team size, a description of your business, the operational problem you want to solve and the outcome you are aiming for.
We also receive limited technical information that any website receives, such as your browser type and general location, and — where you allow it — information from analytics and advertising tools described in our Cookie Policy.
Why we use it and on what basis
Enquiry details are used to respond to you, assess whether we can help, and prepare for a consultation or Business Systems Audit. The lawful basis is your consent, given when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
We only send marketing messages where you have separately opted in, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
Who processes it with us
Your enquiry is stored in our secure database and hosting infrastructure, and email is delivered through our email provider. These providers process data on our instructions only. Some of them operate servers outside Nigeria, which means your information may be transferred across borders under contractual safeguards with those providers.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for others to market to you.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and, where an engagement follows, for the duration of that engagement plus any period required for business records. You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you may request access to your data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to or restrict how it is used, ask for a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. Email Smartgirlfounder@gmail.com and we will respond within the period required by law.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Security
Enquiries are stored with access controls so that submitted data cannot be read publicly. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information you send us.
